Is this "CrossFit"?

No. Our unique functional training method emphasizes the use of safe, accessible training modalities to ensure your healthy development.

Move well... and move long!

What is functional training?

Thoughtful programming of exercises that take you back to rudimentary movements (functions) of the body - pushing, pulling, lifting, transporting, etc. - and optimizing its organic actions.

Recapture the fun you had when you went to the park!

What is the minimum age for your group courses?

Anyone from 10+ years can take part in our training sessions bootcamps in a group.

For younger children, we offer obstacle courses for children (7-9 years)as well as obstacle courses for teenagers (ages 10 and 15).

Do you use obstacles throughout the course?

To avoid overtraining and ensure diversity in our programming, only 2 obstacles are included in the day's training.

This is complemented by functional exercises that are relevant and synergistic to your overall athletic development.

Why integrate obstacles into your routines?

For optimize your motivation. We use obstacles as punctual overcoming objectives to promote your active longevity, your regularity in training and your progress as a human being.

I'm sore after my first class: isn't it for me?

Don't worry, your aches and pains are normal: you're feeling the effects of excess lactic acid produced by a new training routine.

Drink plenty of water, stretch and relax your muscles and - above all - get back to training quickly by adapting your intensity: you'll be able to effectively eliminate this surplus, which can be painful.

The body simply wakes up.

It's easy to find our Sainte-Julie training center in the Halles du domaine (1950P, ch. Fer-à-Cheval).

Do you have changing rooms and showers?

Yes. 2 showers and 3 intimate changing areas are available in our checkroom, plus open lockers for your personal belongings.

We recommend, however, that you leave your valuables in your car. Please note that we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

What are your payment terms?

Our subscriptions are payable by fortnightly payments to credit card.

You can carry out your day-to-day transactions at the counter by flow or credit card.

Please note that we do not accept cash.

What does your logo mean?

Our reptilian emblem pays homage to the cultures that inspire our organization.

Traditionally, the snake is considered the philosophical representative of the inner strength inhabiting each individual - also known as chi.

How can I book my course?

Why am I unable to register?

You must register at least 2 hours before the start of the desired course. After this time, our system will block reservations.

Can I come without a reservation?

If there are already people registered on the course and places are available, you can come to your class without a reservation.

But don't forget to book your next course in good time!

Why show jumping?

Obstacle sports are excellent vehicles for physical and psychological growth.

These races - Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) - involve all the components of health and fitness: endurance, strength, mobility, athleticism, resilience and nutrition.

As one of the most complete sports activities, OCRs create strong social bonds between participants, creating a sense of belonging that motivates the maintenance of healthy lifestyle habits.

Do I need obstacle course experience to train with you?

Not at all! Our functional training is for anyone who wants to take care of their fitness in a motivating group environment.

We use obstacle course racing events (OCR) as motivational targets to encourage longevity, regularity and progression among our members.

Although recommended, participation in the races is by no means required... but we have a feeling you won't be able to help yourself!

I don't think I'm in the right shape to do obstacles...

All our functional workouts include preparatory exercises or alternatives to obstaclesdon't be afraid.

Supported by our stimulating community and properly guided by our team of experts, you'll gradually develop the physical fitness you need to succeed in our obstacles.

Alternatively, you always have the option of our obstacle-free courses HybridFitbased on developing your overall endurance.

Your safety is our priority: that's why our trainers will teach you the techniques you need to master obstacles, without hurting you.

What kind of obstacles do you face?

Always evolving, our course is inspired by the greatest obstacle courses - Spartan Race, OCR World Championships - and our Quebec-based CAO (obstacle course) circuit: Dead End Race, Extreme Racewith a touch of Ninja Warrior.

A varied obstacle course that will prepare you to succeed in your next challenge, whatever the type of race!

Can I use chalk on your obstacles?

In order to keep our facilities clean and in good condition, only the use of transparent liquid chalk is permitted.

You can pick up a small bottle at the counter or via your webshop.

How can I suggest adding a particular obstacle?

Our obstacle course is constantly evolving to satisfy you: we may well already be planning to add the obstacle you're looking for.

What are your age limits?

Your child must be between 7 and 9 years on his first day at our sports camp Ninja Warrior.

What are your payment terms?

At the time of registration, a deposit corresponding to the cost of the first week of care is required.

For the following weeks, automatic payments are collected on the credit card you will add to your child's file, every Monday.

Do you do obstacles all day long?

To avoid overtraining, a variety of obstacle activities are planned at the beginning and end of the day.

It is important to note that a "Ninja Warrior" training center is not a playgroundSafe performance in obstacle sports requires supervised learning and discipline.

What time can I leave my child at camp?

All children who do not have access to daycare will be able to arrive at 09h00, precisely.

Campers who have chosen the day-care option may arrive at camp from 7:00 a.m. onwards.

How do you manage public vacations?

On National Day and Canada Day, camp activities take a break.

Our prices are adjusted accordingly.

What happens if I behave badly?

Serious misbehavior or language towards a child or a member of our staff may result in immediate and irrevocable expulsion of the offending child, without reimbursement of the current on-call week.

Will you be playing outside?

Absolutely! It's important to us that young people make the most of their summer outdoors.

Weather permitting, our ninjas will enjoy outdoor activities/sports, water games and pool "dips" at the various parks around our center.

Will you take pictures of my child?

By registering your child for our sports day camps, you agree that he/she may be filmed or photographed for educational, communication or promotional purposes.

If your child's identity needs to be legally protected (e.g. DPJ protection), please let us know.

Which parks will you be visiting?

  • Parc Joseph-Veronneau (620, rue Charles - De Gaulle): water games, modules, sports field.
  • Edmour-J-Harvey Park (1 Rue des Brises): swimming pool, pedal boats, modules, sports fields.

What is your instructor-to-children ratio?

We comply with ACQ standards, i.e. one activity leader for every 12 children aged 7 to 9.

Do I have to buy the T-shirt when I register?

All campers must purchase the upcoming camp edition shirt when registering.

This article is compulsory for all outings (parks, swimming pools, etc.), so that we can effectively identify the young people in our group.

Plus, it makes a great souvenir of your summer spent in Ninja Warrior !

Is it like an amusement center?

Obstacle sports may be fun, but they also involve a degree of risk when the participant's behavior is inappropriate.

Thus, any conduct that might adversely affect safety on the set is strictly forbidden and may lead to immediate expulsion from the center, without refund.

What is the minimum age?

All warriors from Ages 7 and up are welcome on the course.

Please note that all participants aged between 7 and 13 must be accompanied by an adult on the course.

Do I have to accompany my child?

A adult participant is mandatory accompany all participants age between 7 and 13 years (Access not included).

Can my teen go alone?

A responsible parent must accompany the teen to the registration booth to verify registration.

However, participants aged 14 and over may take part in the race unaccompanied.

Please note that all participants aged between 7 and 13 must be accompanied by an adult on the course.

Can adults participate?

Absolutely! With or without children, all adults wishing to challenge themselves with us are welcome on the course.

What are your payment terms?

You can pay for your registration online by credit card.

What should I wear?

Please arrive dressed for the race. We also invite you to leave your personal belongings inside your vehicle.

WILL THERE BE ACTIVITIES FOR THE UNDER-7S?

You bet! The little ones can have fun in our inflatable games on the grounds and in the play area next to the race site.

You can also enjoy a sweet treat at the on-site mobile creamery! 

Are spectators allowed?

Yes, anyone wishing to enter the race site to cheer or play in the inflatables can purchase a spectator access ticket (5$) at the registration tent.

Is there parking on site?

Free parking is available close to the race site, either at École secondaire du Grand-Coteau or at the Centre de la culture et du sport de Sainte-Julie.

Teams: how does it work?

Any community association, school or corporate group can form a team for the race.
